Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. Two, three, or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a wiffle ball, over a net. The sport shares features of other racquet sports, the dimensions and layout of a badminton court, and a net and rules similar to tennis, with a few modifications. Pickleball was invented in the mid 1960s as a children’s backyard pastime but has become popular among adults as well.

Hi there.
I am not a member of the YMCA but I am interested in finding a place to play pickleball over the winter months. I see that it is $5/day. Do you have a monthly fee? I see the times are 5a-10:15am. Is there any flexibility with the times? I need evening hours. Where are the pickleball courts located and are there permanent nets set up? How many courts do you have?
Thank you so much for your help. I appreciate it!!

Ange,
Thank you for reaching out about pickleball. We do offer a monthly guest pass at $48 a month or you can get an adult membership for as little as $38.50 per month with no minimum commitment.
We do not have evening afters at this time due to the pickleball courts being set up on our basketball courts. Our current times when pickleball is available are 5:00 AM – 12:00 PM. The nets are temporary and we have three courts available.
