YMCA financial assistance will be awarded upon the available resources of the Association. Financial assistance and scholarships are obtained through a confidential application process. YMCA International Flag Display The YMCA was founded in London, England in 1844. Since that time YMCAs are located in over 150 countries. To show our commitment to our heritage, we have an International Flag Display in the YMCA lower level.
YMCA members and staff can purchase a flag from either their native land or the country of their choice. Anyone interested in donating a flag should send the following information to Rich Haight: name, phone number, country, name on plaque. A flag and plaque will be displayed in your honor. Thank you for contributing to keep our heritage alive. Total cost for a display is $90.00 which includes flag, flagstaff, plaque, engraving, shipping and handling. Flags will be displayed around the lower level track. |
