YMCA Camp Discovery

June 7 - August 6, 2010
For Children entering Kindergarten through 7th Grades

Camp Discovery offers children summer adventures that promote healthy spirit, mind and body. Children spend time indoors and outdoors as the staff lead campers in a wide variety of activities each day, including arts and crafts, games, skits, sports, outdoor education and swimming. Children are divided into groups by the grade they will enter in the fall. Each group spends one day at Oakdale Nature Preserve and goes on one off-site field trip weekly. Activities and field trips are based around one central theme each week. At the YMCA, our camps are ACA accredited which means that we maintain the highest standards regarding program quality.
